How We Can Work Together

We provide health and wellbeing outreach services to the open market. We would love to work with your business or organisation, helping you to look after the health and wellbeing of staff or members.

We can:

  • Help you achieve your Healthy Working Lives Awards.

  • Attend your event, conference or away day to run a bespoke programme of health and wellbeing activities to suit your needs. For example, we can provide blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol check; complementary therapy taster sessions; and samples of healthy eating snacks.

  • Run healthy living workshops for your staff to improve their fitness, wellbeing – and productivity!

  • Help reduce absenteeism with stress reducing initiatives including laughter therapy, yoga and healthy cooking demonstrations.

We are a social enterprise company, so your investment goes back into local communities and benefits those most in need of health and wellbeing services.

Here's what Standard Life had to say about our services:

'Everyone really enjoyed it: great food, smoothies were brilliant, and the health checks and treatments just added that little extra to make it special.'

Who we are

CHWB (the Centre of Health and Wellbeing) is a social enterprise with charitable status. We run services, such as those outlined above, to help us finance bespoke programmes of health improvement for people from disadvantaged communities. Our service helps them to take control of their lifestyle and enhance their existing healthcare treatments. Our product, aims to improve the general health of everyone in the community, but will initially target those with long-term conditions.

Our key objectives

1. To empower patients to manage and improve their health and wellbeing.

2. To create a healthy productive workforce and society.

3. To reduce absenteeism for the long-term sick, thereby reducing employers’ £13bn UK-wide annual absenteeism bill.

4. To reduce hospital admissions of people with long-term conditions.
